Automating bad processes doesn’t make them better. It makes them faster, louder, and harder to fix. You end up with the same inefficiencies, just at machine speed.
Start by mapping your workflows end to end. Remove redundant approvals, clarify ownership, and eliminate handoffs that add no value. Only then introduce automation to accelerate what’s clean and repeatable.

In business, Bank of America faced similar issues in its loan processing division.
